Theme of Othello

The theme of Othello is mainly military and love. Also, power corruption, heroism and barbarianism.

Character Blog

So, I haven't decided my character's name yet, but she's a 17 year old small town girl. She's about 5'5, average build and bright green eyes. She's had problems in the past with making and keeping friends but she's found one friend that she knows is true. She's getting ready to go off to college, but she's not sure if she wants to stay home and go to school or live on her on. She's very family-oriented, and that's what triggered the second thought about leaving home. She sounds very ordinary, but she's not. She doesn't like talking to people and being outgoing, yet staying to herself and focusing on her family. Her mother is sick and her father isn't home much, so she doesn't have very much time for anything besides school and family. She drives a Ford truck and wouldn't trade it for anything. Driving is her getaway from the world. Sometimes, she'll drive for hours and run a tank of gas just to get away and get her thoughts together. She hasn't had much luck with boys, either. Most just overlook her; she's waiting for the perfect country gentleman to come along at the right time.


I'm not done with this yet; I'll probably do my essay on this topic :)
