Yeah, I know we're way past this blog, but this just kinda came to me.
She was young, yet old.
She was meek, yet bold.
She dearly loved her Almighty Father.
With the Devil, she did not bother.
Her mother was her pride,
Always stayed by her side.
Through thick and thin,
Her mother knew she would always win.
Siblings? No, not many.
For her she would give up any penny.
Her child-like ways
Passed her days.
In front of her, a huge dream
Not so long away now, it shall seem.
The days of her living here
She holds close, so dear.
A special man in her life,
One day she will be his wife.
Forever and ever they will stay
Until that happy, glorious day.

Verses on the Death of Sarah Wike
When she's dead, people will remember
Her as loving and caring for
Others and always standing up for them.
She loved her God and her family,
Her best friend sometimes made her mad,
But she never ceased to love her.
Her mother was her rock and shiled.
Though she was sick, she was always there.
Father is hardworking, yet shy.
She was exactly like her dad.
Though rough patches, she made it out
But broken heart felt more like home.
The people she knew meant more to her
Than they ever imagined.
Her bones brittle and her muscles weak,
She went through hell in her short life
But always kept her faith strong.
Her God kept her going on.
Her as loving and caring for
Others and always standing up for them.
She loved her God and her family,
Her best friend sometimes made her mad,
But she never ceased to love her.
Her mother was her rock and shiled.
Though she was sick, she was always there.
Father is hardworking, yet shy.
She was exactly like her dad.
Though rough patches, she made it out
But broken heart felt more like home.
The people she knew meant more to her
Than they ever imagined.
Her bones brittle and her muscles weak,
She went through hell in her short life
But always kept her faith strong.
Her God kept her going on.

Theme of Othello
The theme of Othello is mainly military and love. Also, power corruption, heroism and barbarianism.

Character Blog
So, I haven't decided my character's name yet, but she's a 17 year old small town girl. She's about 5'5, average build and bright green eyes. She's had problems in the past with making and keeping friends but she's found one friend that she knows is true. She's getting ready to go off to college, but she's not sure if she wants to stay home and go to school or live on her on. She's very family-oriented, and that's what triggered the second thought about leaving home. She sounds very ordinary, but she's not. She doesn't like talking to people and being outgoing, yet staying to herself and focusing on her family. Her mother is sick and her father isn't home much, so she doesn't have very much time for anything besides school and family. She drives a Ford truck and wouldn't trade it for anything. Driving is her getaway from the world. Sometimes, she'll drive for hours and run a tank of gas just to get away and get her thoughts together. She hasn't had much luck with boys, either. Most just overlook her; she's waiting for the perfect country gentleman to come along at the right time.
I'm not done with this yet; I'll probably do my essay on this topic :)

A Love Lament
To me, a lament is like a story. Everyone has one, but not everyone knows how to put it into words, or even describe what they're feeling. I've been thinking a lot about the topic of lamenting, and I finally came up with something worth telling.
My mom and I just watched the movie "Letters to Juliet". I had already seen it once in the movie theater, but this time I watched it, I began to think about what direction of my life I am heading in. I don't know if you all are familiar with the story line or not, but it is a classic love story about how destiny brought a man and woman together through his grandmother, searching for her long-lost love. You might be surprised, but I did indeed cry at the end. Like every other love story, everyone lived happily ever after and everyone was with who they were supposed to be with.
Then I got to thinking....is that really how life works? I know I'm young and haven't experienced life yet, but I know enough to be skeptical about destiny. I've messed up in the past, a lot. But that's not what this is about. This blog about lamenting is directed towards my worries about love. People I've come across in my almost 17 years have given me a reason to worry. You may call me stupid or ignorant or selfish, but I have reason to worry.
I don't want to get too personal, because this is just a blog, but I reccomend you all watching "Letters to Juliet" and really thinking about your destiny.
